The Spirit of Columbus was a floating production vessel built by Societa Armament Navi Appagio (SANA) SpA at the Sestri Fincantieri Shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The vessel was designed by Friede & Goldman and was built to produce 100,000 barrels of oil per day. At its time the vessel was the largest production vessel in the world.
